Shireen Boxの公開を記念して、
2026年3月20日に愛媛県松山市で イラン映画特別上映会 を開催します。
Shireen Boxでは、日本ではまだ観る機会の少ない海外映画を、日本語字幕付きで届けています。今回の上映会では、その配信作品のひとつをスクリーンで上映します。映画だけでなく、現地との交流の中で見えてきたイランの暮らしや社会についても紹介するイベントです。

上映作品
今回上映する作品は、イラン映画 「ボディーガード」。
2015年に制作された作品で、イラン・イラク戦争後の社会を背景に、副大統領候補の警護を務める男の葛藤を描いた映画です。
政界要人を守る任務の中で、自らの信念と国家の使命の間で揺れる姿を描いた、イラン映画を代表する作品のひとつです。
トークセッション
映画の向こう側にある、現地の声
上映後には、20年以上にわたりイランとの交流を続けてきた 津谷静子さん をゲストに迎え、トークセッションを行います。イランを実際に訪れてきた経験をもとに、映画の背景にある社会や、人々の暮らしについてお話しいただきます。
ニュースでは見えにくいイランの日常を、映画とともに感じていただける時間になると思います。
写真展示
会場では、イランを訪れた際に撮影した写真も展示します。
映画の舞台となる国の風景や人々の暮らしを、写真でも紹介します。

Shireen Boxでは、映画を通して遠い国の出来事を「知らなかった暮らし」として感じてもらえる場をつくりたいと考えています。
今回の上映会が、イランの文化や人々に触れるきっかけになれば嬉しいです。

Celebrating the Launch of Shireen Box
To celebrate the launch of Shireen Box, we will hold a special Iranian film screening event in Matsuyama, Ehime on March 20, 2026.
Shireen Box is a streaming platform that introduces Iranian cinema with original Japanese subtitles.
Through this event, we hope to share not only the film itself, but also the stories and daily lives behind it.
Film Screening
The film to be screened is the Iranian movie “Bodyguard” (2015).
The story follows a security officer assigned to protect a vice-presidential candidate.
Set in post–Iran-Iraq War society, the film explores the conflict between personal belief and national duty.
Talk Session
Voices Behind the Film
After the screening, we will host a talk session with Shizuko Tsuya, who has been involved in cultural exchange with Iran for more than 20 years.
She will share her experiences visiting Iran and discuss the social and cultural background behind the film.

Photo Exhibition
Photos taken during visits to Iran will also be displayed at the venue.
These images introduce everyday life and landscapes in Iran, offering another perspective on the world behind the film.
