映画を通じて、世界を知る入口を
Shireen Boxは、日本では出会う機会の少ないイラン映画を、オリジナル日本語字幕付きで届けるオンラインシアターです。
作品を通じて、戦争と平和、家族の日常、女性の生き方、子どもたちの視点、医療やケア、地域文化など、多様なテーマに触れることができます。
ニュースだけでは見えない人々の暮らしや感情に、映画を通じて出会うこと。

Shireen Box and the peace and cultural exchange activities of its operating organization, Omid, have been introduced by newspapers, television programs, and radio programs in Japan.
We are deeply grateful to the media organizations that have shown interest in our work as a Hiroshima-based initiative connecting people through film, peace, and cultural exchange.

A Hiroshima-Based Online Cinema for Iranian Films
Shireen Box is an online cinema that introduces Iranian films to audiences in Japan.
The platform features films that explore themes such as war and peace, family life, women’s stories, children’s perspectives, medical care, local culture, and everyday life.
By offering Iranian films with original Japanese subtitles, Shireen Box creates opportunities for Japanese audiences to encounter stories, emotions, and ways of life that are often not visible through news alone.
Around 15 Films Now Available with Original Japanese Subtitles
Shireen Box currently offers around 15 films, mainly from Iran, with original Japanese subtitles.
Through these films, viewers can discover the richness of Iranian cinema, from socially conscious works and family dramas to stories of hope, humor, medical support, and cultural exchange.
Looking Ahead
Shireen Box will continue to share Iranian films and related stories through film streaming, articles, events, and cultural exchange activities.
We hope to create a space where people can learn about the world through cinema, and where stories from different countries can meet across borders.
