Shireen Box introduces Iranian films to audiences in Japan with original Japanese subtitles.
The films we present are not simply stories to watch and enjoy.
They are works that allow us to encounter the lives, families, prayers, pain, hope, and dignity of people in Iran.

20年以上続いてきた、イランとの交流
Shireen Boxは、突然生まれた映画配信サイトではありません。
その背景には、20年以上にわたり続けられてきた中東・イランとの交流や支援活動があります。
長い年月の中で、私たちはイランの人々と出会い、現地の暮らしや文化に触れ、そして多くの映画に出会ってきました。
イラン映画には、派手なアクションや豪華な演出とは違う魅力があります。
そこにあるのは、日々を懸命に生きる人々の姿です。
政治や戦争、社会の厳しさの中にあっても、人間の尊厳や希望を失わずに生きようとする人たち。
その姿は、遠い国の物語でありながら、今を生きる私たちの心にも深く響きます。
More than 20 Years of Connection with Iran
Shireen Box did not begin as just another streaming service.
Behind it lies more than 20 years of support, friendship, and cultural exchange with Iran and the Middle East.
Over the years, we have met many people in Iran, learned about their daily lives and culture, and encountered many powerful films.

松山市で開催した、初めての上映会
Shireen Boxのスタートを記念して、愛媛県松山市で初めての映画上映会を開催しました。
本動画では、その上映会の様子を紹介しています。
会場に集まった皆さまと一緒に、イラン映画を観て、感じて、分かち合う時間。
それは、オンライン配信だけではなく、同じ場所で映画を体験することの大切さをあらためて感じる機会にもなりました。

Our First Screening Event in Matsuyama
To celebrate the launch of Shireen Box, we held our first film screening event in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture.
The video introduced in this article shows scenes from that special event.
Watching an Iranian film together with the audience, sharing the same space and the same time, reminded us of the importance of experiencing cinema not only online, but also together in person.
Shireen Box is not only a place to watch films.
