The absolute highlight is the scene where the captured teenage boys face dictator Saddam Hussein. When the Iraqi regime attempts to exploit them for political propaganda, the boys refuse to cooperate. Choosing to protect their dignity over being used as political pawns, they take a stand by launching a hunger strike of their own free will. Having previously directed a documentary on this subject, the director delivers a meticulously detailed portrayal.
