  • 国境の街アバダーンに住むヤドゥは母と弟、家族同然のヤギと共に暮らしていました。隣国からの攻撃により、住民たちは避難を始めますが、ヤドゥ達家族はアバダーンでの暮らしを続けていました。いつか再びここに住民が戻って来ると信じていたヤドゥでしたが、遂に立ち行かなくなります。 避難しようと船に乗ったヤドゥ達は、母ヤギは乗せられないと言われ、止む無く置いて行くことにしますが、子ヤギに向けて鳴き続ける母ヤギを見たヤドゥがとった行動は…。 当時の事を描いた原作に、ファジール映画祭で多くの賞を受賞した監督が、自身の体験を加えて撮った感動作。 In the border city of Abadan, a teenage boy named Yadoo lives with his mother, younger brother, and their beloved goats, whom they treat as part of the family.As attacks from the neighboring country intensify, local residents begin to evacuate, but Yadoo's family chooses to stay behind in Abadan. Believing that the people will one day return, Yadoo tries to keep his family safe, but life under siege eventually becomes unbearable. Finally forced to flee, the family boards an evacuation boat—only to be told that the mother goat cannot come with them. Left with no choice, they attempt to leave her behind. However, hearing the mother goat cry out endlessly to her young kid, Yadoo makes a fateful decision...Based on a original story depicting that era and enriched by the personal experiences of the director—a multiple-award winner at the Fajr Film Festival—this film is a deeply moving masterpiece.
